About Us

Fluoroamidine cyanothiophos is a highly effective and broad-spectrum pyrethroid insecticide and acaricide. It exhibits both stomach poison and contact action, as well as repellent and antifeedant activities. In addition to the typical characteristics of pyrethroid pesticides, it has the unique ability to control mites that most pyrethroids cannot manage. It retains its insecticidal activity even under high-temperature field conditions and has a relatively long residual effect. It is safe for bees and causes minimal harm to many crops. In clinical applications, Fluoroamidine cyanothiophos is primarily used for the eradication of bee mites.

Precautions:

1.Prepared Fluoroamidine cyanothiophos solution should be used immediately and should not be stored for an extended period.

2.It should not be mixed with alkaline pesticides to avoid decomposition.

3.Avoid application in mulberry orchards, fish ponds, and their vicinity to prevent harm to silkworms, fish, and other aquatic life.

4.Store Fluoroamidine cyanothiophos away from open flames to prevent potential hazards.

5.The reapplication interval on crops varies; it is about 5-7 days on cotton and approximately 10 days on vegetables.

Toxicity: The acute oral LD50 for rats is 260-280 mg/kg. Acute dermal LD50 is >2000 mg/kg, and the acute inhalation LC50 is >5.1 mg/L. It has slight skin and eye irritant properties. There is no evidence of carcinogenic, mutagenic, or teratogenic effects, and it has no known impact on reproduction. It exhibits significant effects on silkworms and natural enemies.

Chemical Properties: Fluoroamidine cyanothiophos is a yellow, viscous liquid. Its boiling point exceeds 450°C, and its relative density is 1.29 (25°C). It has a refractive index of n20D 1.541 and a vapor pressure of 1.3×10-5Pa (25°C). The flash point is >120°C. It is soluble in acetone, alcohols, dichloromethane, chloroform, ether, and aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, while being sparingly soluble in water (0.002 mg/kg). The distribution coefficient is 7000. It is stable under light, heat, and acidic conditions but decomposes in alkaline environments. It is non-explosive.

Applications: Fluoroamidine cyanothiophos is an efficient and broad-spectrum pyrethroid insecticide and acaricide with stomach and contact action. It is safe for crops and has a long residual effect. It can be used to control pests like cotton bollworm, cotton aphids, cotton red spiders, corn borers, cabbage caterpillars, fall armyworms, citrus leaf miners, tea caterpillars, peach twig borers, mirids, aphids, wheat aphids, soybean pod borers, soybean aphids, and sugar beet armyworms, among others.
