Trimethylamine can be used as raw material of disinfectant, natural gas alarm, analytical reagent, organic synthesis, and also can be applied in production of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, photographic materials, rubber additives, chemical fiber solvents, surfactants and dyes. The resultant of reaction of trimethylamine with ethylene oxide and 2- chloroethanol can be used as catalysts for polycondensation reaction and additives for chicken feed respectively.
