DHHB (Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate) is an organic compound belonging to the class of benzophenones, commercially used as UVA filter and is anticipated to provide reliable protection against free radicals and premature skin aging, mainly caused by shortwave UVA radiations. Uvinul A Plus is a component of cosmetic emulsion with UV protection that can minimizie the overexposure of human skin to ultraviolet radiation. Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate was approved in Europe in 2005, and is also marketed in the U.S., South America, Mexico, Japan and Taiwan.

DHHB (Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate) is a broad-spectrum oil-soluble ultraviolet absorber. It has strong absorption to ultraviolet with the whole UVA spectrum(320~400nm), and the biggest absorption peak is 354nm. It is currently one of the best UV absorbers in the UVA band. It's mainly used in sunscreen lotion, hair protection products and medical skin care products.
